We talk a lot about “meeting the bar” when we do Olympic Lifts.  This video does a great job of showing that.  Watch how as the athletes increase the load they receive the bar lower and lower.  This is because as the weight gets heavier they aren’t able to jump the bar as high resulting in a lower receiving position.  For maximal loads you should be receiving the bar in the lowest possible squat.
